TumbleCo Elite
In TumbleCo Elite participants will learn the various skills, and skill sets, that encompass CheerCo levels six (6) and seven (7). This class builds upon the skills learned in the previous level — i.e. the diamond level — by teaching participants to incorporate a double full twisting layout (“double full”, or “double”). Participants are also introduced to a variety of advanced skill combinations that are learned when an athlete reaches this level — e.g. jump skill, standing full; front full; standing back handspring combinations to full / double; bounding twisting skills; etc.
The class curriculum emphasizes the fundamentals of strong level six (6) and seven (7) tumbling including, but not limited to:
consistent approach;
flow from skill to skill;
speed;
body control (i.e head placement, pointed toes, arm/shoulder placement, hip position, etc);
landings (i.e chest placement, controlled ,etc.)
In order to enroll in TumbleCo Elite participants must demonstrate strong execution of the following:
front full;
front handspring, punch front step-out / front layout step-out;
standing back handspring series (3+) to layout;
standing back handspring, back tuck combination to layout;
jump skill, standing back handspring series (3+) to layout;
round-off, back handspring full / round-off, back handspring series (3+), full;
running whip combination to full
standing whip combination to layout
jump skill, standing back tuck;
cartwheel; layout
standing full;
Participants who are unable to perform the skills listed above with excellent execution will not be permitted to enroll in this class. If you are new to the program and don’t know if you meet the requirements for this class you may schedule a free thirty (30)-minute mini class — by appointment only — where one of our skills technicians will evaluate your skills and work with you to determine the best class, or group of classes, to help you reach your goals.
