TumbleCo Diamond
In TumbleCo Diamond participants will learn the various skills, and skill sets, that encompass CheerCo level five (5). This class builds upon the skills learned in the previous level — i.e. the platinum level — by teaching participants to incorporate a full twisting layout (“full”). Participants are also introduced to a variety of advanced skill combinations that are learned when an athlete reaches this level — e.g. jump skill, back tuck; standing back handspring combinations to layout; etc.
The class curriculum emphasizes the fundamentals of strong level five (5) tumbling including, but not limited to:
consistent approach
flow from skill to skill;
speed;
body control (i.e head placement, pointed toes, arm/shoulder placement, hip position, etc);
landings (i.e chest placement, controlled ,etc.)
In order to enroll in TumbleCo Diamond participants must demonstrate strong execution of the following:
punch front step-out;
front handspring, punch front;
standing back handspring series (3+) to back tuck;
jump skill, standing back handspring series (3+) to back tuck;
round-off, back handspring, full / round-off, back handspring series (3+), full;
front layout;
standing back tuck;
cartwheel, back tuck
straight jump, back tuck
Participants who are unable to perform the skills listed above with excellent execution will not be permitted to enroll in this class. If you are new to the program and don’t know if you meet the requirements for this class you may schedule a free thirty (30)-minute mini class — by appointment only — where one of our skills technicians will evaluate your skills and work with you to determine the best class, or group of classes, to help you reach your goals.
